I was using this product for a couple of months and then I started to look a bit more into the company and so I checked out the FAQ section because I wanted to see if naked uses any 3rd party testing, they claim that they do but do not list the company's name, they also claim they "cant provide lab test results as the lab prohibits them", This raised a MAJOR red flag to me as NO 3rd party lab prohibits any company from giving these results, especially on request. I have received many 3rd party lab test results from companies before such as heart&soil and garden of life just to name of company ( I had explained the situation to the garden of life sales rep and he agreed saying naked is most likely hiding something from there customers since they are lying ). The fact that naked nutrition is lying shows they are clearing hiding something in my opinion, I sort of had a suspicion when they claimed to have nothing to hide! Sounds like they sure do! either its high levels of heavy metals, containments, non organic ingredients or most likely the whey is actually not grass fed. I reached out to naked almost 3 weeks ago and no response when I asked for proof of lab results, where the farms they source there whey is from and also where they source the so called organic cacao from. Its really unfortunate the amount of green washing that goes with company's like naked but at the end of the day your losing a customer and will lose many more due to not having full transparency with your product's. People come here because they care about there health and want quality supplement's, not a company who makes claims of hiding nothing but clearly is. I am very disappointed. I encourage everyone to do there own research if you dont trust what I am saying, just google it.
I’m on my second tub, but plan to make it my protein supplement of choice indefinitely. Also bought a tub for my son. I’m hoping it helps me put on some muscle (I’m too skinny). No luck so far but I’m hopeful.
Pros: did not cause bloating, and can be easily added to food for a boost in calories.
Cons: Tapioca starch maltodextrin is listed as the first ingredient which means it makes the bulk of the product vs. Whey protein. Tapioca starch maltodextrin probably makes up 70% of the product ?, please correct me if I’m wrong. Consuming this kind of carb with no fibre is going to cause your blood sugar to spike. I didn’t check the ingredients of naked mass, I thought it was the same as naked whey. Would much rather prefer naked whey due to its nutritional profile and better carb to fibre ratio. There is zero fibre in naked mass
